Sergeant Majors
Since I was a child, Sergeant Majors have held a special place in my heart. Some of my earliest memories of the ocean include tossing crackers from the side of a boat and watching these little striped fish dart to the surface, or snorkeling as curious schools gathered around me.
Today, I still find joy in encountering them beneath the waves. I love to dive below their schools and watch as they cruise along the top of the reef, constantly searching for their next tasty morsel. This piece is a celebration of a lifelong connection with these spirited little fish and the simple sense of wonder they have brought to my time in the ocean.
